| Which draft compensation idea do you like better? Or neither? 1: Type A free agents(90+) will get a first round compensation on them, and type B(80-89) will get a third round pick if they are signed within five days within free agency. If not, then the former team doesn't recieve anything.
2: Teams that sign an A free agent have to give up their second round pick and the team that loses the player gets a sandwich pick between the first and second round. We will totally eliminate the sixth round. This way, the second round can be like a sandwich round. Any additional picks left over at the end will go to teams who lost the best players who werent an A free agent. A free agents will be anyone rated 90 or above overall.
Teams should have to give up their first round pick because there are way too many A free agents and it is a HUGE loss to lose a first round pick in mogul rather than in real life. In real life there are 50 rounds to make it up, in mogul, theres five. Also, B free agents are a dime a dozen and you can get them for cheap so it isnt a huge loss. Any questions on either idea? And make sure you post which idea you like better.

-Cinci' After eliminating the 6th round, there will be extra picks left over because there wont be 30 A free agents. Those leftovers will just be given to the teams who lose the best B free agents.

I apologize for not being clear enough. My hang up is the use of the words "best B free agents". Can you please clarify how it will be determined what the "best" B free agents are? Their overall rank? Their peak? Thanks. -Cinci'

-Cinci' overall rank A free agents are overall 90 and above and anyone between an 85 and 89 is a B free agent.

| I'm in the middle. This can be taken advantage of though. Like say you have an old vet that for some reason hangs around in the 90's well beyond his good performance days. The team can simply not tender his contract and get a compensation pick. | |
