Few things:
1) free agency seems to be winding down. I would guess this will be wrapped up for the most part by tomorrow night or Wednesday. So, it is time to start getting things going for the 2012 season. If you haven't already you need to register on the new site: http://z3.invisionfree.com/OutaHereSportsMogul/index.php?act=idx Everything going forward after free agency will need to be posted there. Each team needs to post the following: depth chart, finances (expenses, tickets, concessions, etc.), and Strategy setup posted. In addition please add a team logo avatar!!!! Please help us out, we need to go through 30 of each of these, so start posting!
2) Because of this, we will be looking at a spring training sim on either Friday or Saturday, and a season start on either Saturday (This would be a one time deal, Special Saturday season kickoff if it works for everyone) or Sunday. Once again get your stuff posted and that will help.
3) We're adding two new trade moderators. They are jjsun and kaameleon. This should help trades be approved promptly.
4) Back to the new website. It's very basic right now, so it's a work in progress. Let defense know if you have any suggestions. If there's something on the old site you liked that isn't there let him know. If there was something you didn't like about the old site that is on the new one let him know what you think would be better.
5) There will be a new section for a radio show. This could be a pretty cool feature, basically a souped up version of the stories/sim discussions. If you post information in these it will give mlb06 more material to work with. If you have ideas or participate in interviews or contribute material it makes the radio show work, which makes the league that much better.
6) The switch to 08 really jumbled the rosters, but I think my take on this year's free agency signings is that it should really improve several teams. Last season was the most competitive we've seen, and this year should be even better!
