Just looking at the schedule, we would reach the trade deadline on Monday. Since we normally take a few days off to allow for trading, this is about the worst day it could fall on. Unless there are complaints, Here is what I am looking to do instead:
Wednesday sim 7/5-7-13
Thursday sim 7/14-7/21
early Friday night sim 7/22-7/30
Sunday no sim
Monday late sim... 11pm or midnight
This would give us Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, and all day Monday as a window for trading.
I am also considering going to a week and a half at a time sim instead of a week sim after the trade deadline. The reasoning is this will get us to the playoffs in 6 sims instead of 9. Right now I think there are 11 teams probably in the playoff hunt, so this would get us to the offseason a little quicker. I'm also thinking we will do the playoffs a little faster as well. Last year I slowed both of these down so we could recruit.
