The D-Rays took 2 of 3 from both the cubs and reds this week. outside of troy glaus and dan uggla, the bats have underachieved. tampa is 9.5 out of the division but only 3 out of the wild card. pythag record has the d-rays leading the wild card.

The Rangers went 3-3 this week, taking 2 of 3 from the Braves, and losing 2 of 3 against the Marlins. Our offense has been pretty good, but our bullpen has been disgusting. We will be looking for some consistency from our pen, or else there will be some changes in the works.

Another good week for the O's as we swept the Cards at home, and took of 3 from Houston at home as well. One Down note, as we lost James Loney for 3 weeks or so.

We started off well with a 15-2 blowout, with Jerome Williams going 7 innings for the win. Several players had good games offensivley, with 9 extra base hits, and 2 players having 4 RBI (Loney and Scott) and Delcado getting 5 RBI. Game 2 was a close game with the O's eeking out a 5-4 win, with Delgado contributing a homer and 2 RBI to lead the offense again. We closed things out strongly behind 8 innings of 1 Run ball from Zach Duke, and 4 Home Runs from the offense in a 13-4 win.

First game of the Houston series saw Rupe and Chick get roughed up for 9 runs in the 9-5 loss. Game 2 saw the Orioles score 6 runs on just 6 hits, as we got 6 walks to help things out. Jon Lester got the win, striking out 10 and giving up 1 ER in 6.1 IP. Ryan Howard led the O's to a 10-8 win in game 3 of the sereis, going 4 for 4 with 2 HR and 5 RBI.

Next week is a big 4 game series at home vs the Yanks, followed by a road trip to Philly.
