A few things about the Yankees... This team is a revenue Giant in our league. They earn nearly twice what the Mets have been making, and they are 2nd in our league. The new revenue sharing plan will dramatically cut this revenue advantage over the next few years. I don't feel this will be a problem, as they are currently at a 180 million dollar payroll, and have 90 million in expiring contracts this offseason. (both numbers off the top of my head) While their higher revenue # will be an advantage for the new owner, working around the increasing revenue sharing number will present some challenges as well. So should be a fun team to run!!

I was going to do it tomorrow, but it will depend on how full the league is. Let's say there are 4 owners interested. they can each sign up for the lottery, but still sign up for another team in the meantime. The drawing itself will be completely random using a set of lottery numbers. like powerball."

In the event you sign up for and win both the red sox and yankees there will be a 2nd place specified when I post how this is being done.

Basically it's based on the Lottery numbers. When they are posted here http://www.powerball.com/powerball/pb_numbers.asp they are posted from lowest to highest, followed by the powerball. To make this easy, the winning # will be the highest of the 5 white balls, + the powerball #, - the next highest white ball number. The resulting # will be the winning #. Whoever has that number above will win.

For Example, Wednesday's #'s are 8 20 29 42 43 pb35

So this would be calulated by highest white ball# (43) + powerball (35) - next highest white ball (42) = 36, so the winner would be cusefan1990. If he does not confirm he is taking the Yankees by Monday at noon by posting in this thread, the team will go to whoever has the number 1 above the winning number (so 37, grossman09 in this example). If they do not respond with a post by the time the WS sim is posted Monday night it will go to whoever claims them first.

If you have questions I'll be gone for 10 days, so contact tunit at his AIM mastermind8899. If more people sign up by Saturday night these will need to be recalculated, method should be easy to duplicate. Thanks!
