Recruitment Plan

Ok, obviously we do have some open teams, and we have been advertising, but we can't seem to get any new gms. I mean, I don't know why we can't, but we just seem not to be able to. I mean, atleast in my opinion this league is great, but I guess they don't know that. We do have 80+ members, but there has to be some gms out there that haven't tried this league, so just wondering. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to recruit?

I mean the only thing I was thinking was maybe, if anyone of you would be so kind, post your thought's on this league under the league topic on the mogul forums(I saw jcclemen did, and I would like to thank him for that). Maybe if people had a non-administration opinion, they would come?

I've looked at joining a few other leagues in case no one here likes my spreadsheets. I'll have to leave if that's the case. JK

Anyway what bothers me is there are all these leagues posting on sportsmogul. Most of them are half full at best, or just getting started. If you're in another league mention this one, or more specifically go to the more active members in that league and tell them how great this one is and try and get them to join.

Another thing or two you could maybe do... on the available teams thing put what good players they have, and mention that if the team is in debt they can release any contracts with no penalty. You also might add something saying we will be adding at the very least a revenue sharing plan of some kind.

In addition maybe somebody who hasn't posted on the current thread at sportsmogul could start a new thread. Maybe not seeing all the posts trying to fill a few of those teams will look better? Just a fresh new post from somebody like USCSteve or Sanji saying we're in the offseason, getting ready to start a 4th season, got rid of a few less active owners because there are quite a few very active owners. Then copy the teams that are available and mention their key players, financial relief, etc.

Maybe another idea would be this...not sure if people would be opposed, but on the sportsmogul we could put a "SPECIAL PROMOTION FROM OUTAHERESPORTS" Then it could be something like first 5 who join get to pick one prospect from their new team's minor league system who currently has some upside, but a peak of 85 or less. They can rename that player anything they want, including their own name, funny name, etc., and we will in addition upgrade him so his peak is 5 points higher. Just something to bring people in.

"Uther Pendragon" or "Tonya Harding". What? Only for new people?
