| I need your guys help with this. For the holidays, I got a little money, and after buying myself a little something, and putting some of it away, and since I spend some time in this league, I think I will spend a little of it on this league, for the better. So what do you think is a good contest gift? I mean should I be going for one big gift as a referral contest, or a couple things for each person who refers someone? Or was something like the last contest good, where teams got prizes for activiness, and world series' and stuff, and the reason no new gms joined was b/c of the holidays, and that a new gm will join now? Replies wanted... p.s. don't ask for something unrealistic, like an one hundred dollar piece of silver, or something like that, because that won't be happening, and that would justbe a waste of space | |

| I'd say give a little something to the new owner and whomever referred them as long as they stay active for a season or 2. And maybe a prize for the winner of the WS. I would also be willing to contibute something to this if it helps get new owners. | |

| Hmm, I know I had world series winner in the last contest, that failed, but I am thinking in referral system only right now. I think it would be smarter to go for filling teams then season accomplishments. Just the question how to divide it up? I will have to give it some thought. | |

| I am thinking of putting up a small contest. Nothing big, just for one of my game used jersey cards, or something. I just need an idea of what to make the contest. I want it to have to do with in the game, like batting average, wins, playoffs, etc., etc. Maybe a recruiting contest, but first I want to see if anyone comes up with anything that has to do with the game.
Ideas.... | |

| My first idea was which team can improve the most next season from this season, but then that really wouldn't be too fair to the teams that win 90/100 games this year. You really wouldn't be able to improve too much from that... | |

| Maybe add something like add a poll for GM of the year or something like that for the new gms. Who ever gets the most votes by people in our league wins. | |

| I really don't know about that. I was thinking more of in-the-game stats, or something. Plus, I want everyone to participate, not just the new gms.
Any other ideas, guys...? | |

| I guess that is the best idea. It just kind of eliminates any good team from winning the contest. Not much improvement some team can do from 90/100 wins. But it will have to do, unless someone can think of a better idea I will make a decision in a couple days | |
