| I like names that have ties to the local community. For Santa Ana I would suggest Oranges (Orange County), Bombers (aviation company), or Rockers (guitar company). You could use any number of variations of those names as well. How about the Santa Ana Juicers! | |

| since this came back up, couldn't help but look for california nicknames. I found this, which may be helpful.... it is a list of college nicknames.... i did a ctrl "F" to search for schools in California.... I suppose you could also just read through the list though. Also you could consider SoCal______ in addition to Santa Ana ______ and California ___________
