International Free Agents

I have yet to go over the details with jcclemen but we are going to be reintroducing international free agents (I don't believe we've had them for 2 seasons).

There are 5 prospects and 1 Japenese player in this year's International Free Agent pool.

Koji Uehara will be the Japense free agent. He will be bid on through the "posting" process. Bids can be forwarded to me, as I will not be bidding during this process.

The 5 International Prospects will be openly bid through cash. Once the player is won, he will be signed to a 6 year, 600k contract.

The cash, at the moment, will go into the Revenue sharing pool. (if there are any suggestions to where the cash should go please post them here)



All of the International Free Agents will be in tonight's free agency file.

I've downloaded the new file but can't find this Koji guy anywhere
in the free agent list or through the search. Am I missing something?

Nevermind. Very strange... I had to hit "Clear" and reset the
Find Players menu before he would show up. I think there are
a couple of very minor bugs that ocurred when we moved
the file... but nothing major. I'm finding that sometimes I
have to reset the search screen before I can find a player.
I had trouble finding my onw player Lowell through the
search screen yesterday. My apologies. I'm good now.
