If you already allow for this in this league, my apologies. It's a relatively
small item but wanted to address it.

If we wanted to stretch out a RP to give them higher endurance, we
typically throw them into long relief and work them into a starter role.
I'd like to propose that we be able to stretch out relievers during the
off season (pitchers and catchers report in Feb), or if not, at least during
spring training.

I'm imagining a tiered effect where relievers with the lowest scores
see the most results while reliever with high 30's/low 40's see less
results. This is just a rough framework and could easily be adjusted:

If RP has endurance X... then increase their endurance by Y...

___X___|__Y__
<or =20 | +25
21 to 30 | +20
31 to 40 | +15
41 to 50 | +10

Again, the numbers could be tweaked. The benefit of doing this is
geared mainly for small market teams or teams who can't afford
or want to spend in FA. This could be accomplished by the admins
editing the players endurance before the first game of the season.

*Edit* I simmed some spring training games where I threw some
30-something endurance relievers into the rotation. It appears that
some of them gained about 20-30 points naturally during spring
training. This may make my idea a moot point. Sorry.

How do you increase a pitchers endurance in the game?

I know Sanji toyed with this idea in his league, and warned people against converting SPs to RPs just to increase peak/overall and selling them off. There is more to my post, but I'm kinda drunk and don't feel like elaborating right now.

Well, the slow way is to stick a reliever in the long relief role. The
less endurance your starters have (or crappier your starters are), the
more likely your long relief guy is going to get used.

As I found out last night, I increased the endurance of some relievers
by throwing them in the rotation during spring training.

Given that these two options exist, I'm guessing there won't be much
thought put into a manual adjustment of a pitchers endurance. I can
see the viewpoint/concern that artifically raising good reliever's
endurance up and selling them as starters could be an issue. Hrm.
